Meet Our Staff 

Heather Lawrence 

Heather has been apart of the YMCA since October of 2006. She has worked with our children in Child Watch and is the director of our annual Summer Camp. Also Heather is the Programs Director, Sports Director and Summer Camp Director which entails handling sports, and annual festivities the YMCA provides such as the Y Bash, Father Daughter Dance and Mother Son Dance.

 Rick Hawkins

Rick has been apart of the YMCA since November of 2003. He is the Property Manager handling all maintinance work and making sure the YMCA grounds look their best. He prepares the fields during sports seasons, and keeps the Aquatics Center looking as new as ever working as the CPO. He does a great job and has put in a lot of hard work at the YMCA.

Willie Pettiford

Willie has been apart of our staff since March of 2006. He is our Fitness Manager, making schedules and organizing our staff in the fitness center. We love what a great job he has done so far, teaching the members how to use machines correctly and to the best of their ability. We appreciate all the hard work he has put into our gym, trying to make it a better place!  

Jay Lacy

Jay is our new arrival to the YMCA staff and is the Director of Memberships. Jay graduated from Reinhardt College with a Bachelor's Degree in Sports Management. She has proven to be a wonderful asset and we are excited to have her on our team.

Sheri Albury 

January 1, 2004 when the YMCA moved to the Westover Road Facility Sheri was here to open up a new world to our YMCA kids! She is the Child Care Coordinator here at the YMCA and is in charge of Mother's Morning Out, Child Watch and School's Out Camp. She does an amazing job with the children and has a warm and big heart towards every kid that walks through the door. Our Child Watch Facility wouldn't be the same without Ms. Sheri.
